China expands its collection of covert meteorological satellites with the successful launch of Yunhai-3 (02) from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi Province.
The newly launched satellite will primarily focus on environmental monitoring tasks, including atmospheric and marine environment detection, space environment monitoring, and disaster prevention and reduction efforts.
