China's Peking University tops the recently released Asia University Rankings

Asia University Rankings released by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) in November 2023.
A total of 856 universities in Asia have been included in this ranking.
China's Peking University is at the top position in the ranking.
Peking University is located in Beijing.
Hong Kong University is in second place.
National University of Singapore occupies the third position.
Not a single Indian university/institution is included in the top 10.
2 Indian educational institutions feature in the top 50.
These institutes are – IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi.
IIT Bombay is ranked 40th and IIT Delhi is ranked 46th.
This time only 7 Indian universities are included in the top 100 universities.
IIT Madras is ranked at 53rd, IISc Bengaluru at 58th, IIT Kharagpur at 59th, IIT Kanpur at 63rd and Delhi University at 94th.
Maximum 148 universities of India have made it to this index.
After this comes China which has 113 universities in it.
This ranking is prepared on the basis of 11 indicators.
