China has successfully launched a new communications satellite, the Zhongxing-1D, from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest Sichuan province.
This Long March series carrier rockets were launched for the 399th time.
The satellite, developed by the China Academy of Space Technology, is capable of providing high-quality voice, data, radio, and television transmission services.
