China’s navy has inducted the Type 052D guided-missile destroyer, Loudi, enhancing its combat capabilities in air defence, maritime strikes, and task force command. The warship, featuring advanced radar, weapons, and network systems, strengthens China’s growing fleet, now the world’s largest with 234 vessels. In 2025 alone, China added 11 combat ships, including the aircraft carrier Fujian, while also supplying modern naval vessels and submarines to ally Pakistan, reflecting its expanding naval reach and strategic influence.
