China and Russia began a three-day naval exercise, titled “Joint Sea-2025,” in the Sea of Japan on Sunday. The drills are taking place near Vladivostok, a strategic Russian port city, and aim to bolster bilateral maritime cooperation and jointly challenge the perceived dominance of the U.S.-led international order, according to China’s Defence Ministry.
