Recently Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Yojana has been started by Himachal Pradesh Government.
The objective of this scheme is to provide higher education facilities to needy children and destitute women.
This fund has been established for the needy of all sections of the state.
This scheme is being run for the protection of orphan children.
Under this scheme, the state government will bear the entire cost of education of orphan children.
These children will be given a stipend of Rs 4,000 per month as pocket money while pursuing higher education.
For this the state government has allocated Rs 101 crore.
