Chief Minister Breakfast Scheme

Recently Chief Minister Breakfast Scheme has been started by Telangana Government.
Under this scheme, breakfast will be served to all students of classes 1 to 10 45 minutes before the start of classes.
The breakfast menu includes Idli Sambar, Wheat Rava, Upma Chutney, Puri, Aloo Khorma, Tomato Bhaat, Khichdi and Pongal.
The objective of this scheme is to provide food to about 23 lakh government school students.
The state government has allocated a budget of Rs 400 crore for this scheme.
The scheme will address the issues of child malnutrition, besides improving student enrollment in schools.
