Grandmaster Arvind Chidambaram won the Chennai Grand Masters title by performing brilliantly in the last two classical rounds.
Grandmaster V Pranav deserved the Challengers title by remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament. In the Challenger category, Pranaav needed only a draw against Grandmaster Luke Mendonca. He won the Challenger title with a draw.
