The Union government has approved the appointment and transfer of Chief Justices for three High Courts, following the Supreme Court Collegium’s recommendations. Justice Soumen Sen will head the Kerala High Court, Justice Sangam Kumar Sahoo will assume charge at Patna High Court, and Justice Revati Prashant Mohite Dere has been appointed Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court. The appointments, made under Articles 217 and 222 of the Constitution, ensure continuity in judicial leadership and the smooth functioning of India’s higher judiciary.
