  • He will succeed Nidhi Chhibber, who has been designated as Advisor in the Niti Aayog, a premier policy think tank of the Government of India.
  • The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved Singh's appointment, marking a significant change in the leadership of CBSE, which oversees the education system for millions of students across India.
