The Himachal Pradesh government will allocate an amount of Rs 53.21 crore annually for 'Mukhyamantri Sukh Shiksha Yojana'.
Under this, the government will bear the expenses of education and professional courses for widows, single women, and disabled children.
The Cabinet decided to increase the monthly fee from Rs 110 to Rs 500 per month with continuation of the concessional services provided to the police in HRTC, and also to relax the age limit of 6 years for admission of Class I in schools by six months.
