The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved four new semiconductor manufacturing proposals under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) worth ₹4,600 crore. The approved projects are by SiCSem, Continental Device India Pvt. Ltd. (CDIL), 3D Glass Solutions Inc., and Advanced System in Package (ASIP) Technologies. These additions bring the total number of approved projects under ISM to six, all in various stages of execution, marking rapid growth in India’s semiconductor ecosystem.
