Bundelkhand Expressway is going to be the first solar expressway of Uttar Pradesh.
PPP on this expressway. Under the model, solar plants will be set up through which 550 MW solar power will be generated.
With this project, 1 lakh houses connected to the expressway will be able to get electricity daily.
It is being developed by Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Authority.
Green energy will also be developed upon completion of this project.
This project will also provide an annual benefit of Rs 6 crore on energy consumption by setting up solar plants on Bundelkhand, Purvanchal, Lucknow, Agra and Gorakhpur Expressway.
