Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding during the “Industry 4.0 Workshop for CPSEs” organised in Guwahati under the Ministry of Finance. Under this agreement, the two organisations will work together to deploy the country’s first Captive Non-Public Network (CNPN) based on indigenous 5G technology within the refinery sector. This advanced network will offer secure, ultra-reliable, low-latency, real-time connectivity essential for mission-critical industrial operations, marking a significant step towards adopting Industry 4.0 solutions in India.
