  • BS Mubarak has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Sudan.
  • According to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs, Mubarak, a 2001 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, is currently serving as India's Ambassador to Guatemala.
  • Apart from this, Manoj Kumar Mohapatra has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Guatemala.
  • He will replace BS Mubarak. Mohapatra, a 2000 Indian Foreign Service officer, is currently serving as a minister in the Indian Embassy in Washington.
