·         British tennis player Emma Radukanu defeated Canadian star Leylah Fernandez in the US Open women's final on Saturday to win the title.

·         She is the first British woman to win a Grand Slam singles title in 44 years.

·         Radukanu U.S. 150th in the world at the Open.

·         Canada's 19-year-old Leylah Fernandez won 6-4, 6-3 in the final of the US Open.
