The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced CP Radhakrishnan, the Governor of Maharashtra, as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate for the Vice-Presidential election. BJP National President JP Nadda made the declaration on Sunday, with Union Minister and HAM leader Jitan Ram Manjhi extending full support. The election became necessary following Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s sudden resignation due to health issues.
