  • Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched the logo, mascot, and trophy of the 12th Men’s Asia Cup Hockey Championship at the CM Secretariat in Patna.
  • The tournament, hosted for the first time in Bihar, will be held from August 29 to September 7, 2025 at the Rajgir International Stadium. The CM also flagged off the ‘Trophy Pride Journey’, where the Asia Cup torch will travel through all districts of Bihar.
  • The mascot, ‘Chand’, inspired by India’s national animal — the tiger, represents courage, agility, and sporting excellence.
