  • In Nepal, "Bhoto Jatra" concluded on 04 August, "Bhoto Jatra" is a traditional event of Nepal which revolves around the gem studded vest 'Bhoto' and it is preserved near Rato Machhindranath every year.
  • On the last day of Bhoto Jatra, the jeweled vest is displayed before the public, marking the end of the festival and the beginning of the festivities.
  • The ballot is preserved in a sealed bag for a year and is opened on the special day in the presence of the head of the state.
