In Nepal, "Bhoto Jatra" concluded on 04 August, "Bhoto Jatra" is a traditional event of Nepal which revolves around the gem studded vest 'Bhoto' and it is preserved near Rato Machhindranath every year.
On the last day of Bhoto Jatra, the jeweled vest is displayed before the public, marking the end of the festival and the beginning of the festivities.
The ballot is preserved in a sealed bag for a year and is opened on the special day in the presence of the head of the state.
