Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina (L1) waves a flag at the inaugural ceremony of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT Line)-6 of Bangladesh's first-ever metro in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
This metro has been run between Diabari and Agargaon stations.
This is part of the ambitious Bangladesh project of Mass Rapid Transit to be completed by 2030.
The approximately 12-kilometre-long metro route which was opened today will connect Diabari to Agargaon station in Dhaka.
This is the first eco-friendly electric train run in Bangladesh.
