The Bangladesh Navy signed a contract with India's Garden Reach Shipbuilding and Engineers (GRSE) for the acquisition of an 800-ton Ocean Going Tug.
This agreement aims to bolster Bangladesh's maritime capabilities and strengthen bilateral cooperation in naval technology.
The contract was finalized during the visit of India’s Chief of Naval Staff to Bangladesh, underscoring the strategic importance of enhancing maritime collaboration between India and Bangladesh through joint naval initiatives and technology transfers.
