  • Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister of Ayush and Ports, Shipping & Waterways, announced a plethora of big projects to promote AYUSH in Arunachal Pradesh.
  • The project is in line with the aspirations of the state and the northeast region to expand the AYUSH sector.
  • An investment of roughly Rs 53.72 crores will be required for additional infrastructure development at NEIAFMR.
  • This project will include the construction of a new Ayurveda College with 30 seats and a new Ayurveda Hospital with 60 beds.
