Uttar Pradesh made history at the 2025 Deepotsav festival in Ayodhya by lighting 26,17,215 diyas along 56 ghats on the Saryu River, including Ram Ki Paidi, earning a Guinness World Record for the largest single-place oil lamp display. Additionally, 2,128 Vedacharyas performed a synchronized Maha Aarti, creating the world’s largest simultaneous religious ritual. The festival featured 1,100 Swadeshi drones projecting Ramayana images, combining tradition with modern technology. Graced by CM Yogi Adityanath and volunteers, the event celebrated India’s heritage, faith, and unity, drawing global attention.
