BrahMos Aerospace Limited, which manufactures the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile, has appointed Atul Dinkar Rane as its new CEO and Managing Director.
He is the most outstanding scientist of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
Rane, who is in command of BrahMos Aerospace's Indo-Russian Joint Venture, has been involved with the project since its inception. The world-class BrahMos supersonic cruise missile system is manufactured by this JV organisation.
He worked on the programme as the Program Manager, Avionics & System Integration.
He was also involved in the creation, planning, testing, and certification of DRDO Onboard systems.
