  • The Army Dental Centre of Research & Referral (ADC R&R) celebrated its silver jubilee on May 1, 2024, marking 25 years of service within the Armed Forces.
  • Lieutenant General MK Katiyar, the General Officer Commanding in Chief of Western Command, visited the Dental Centre during the celebration and unveiled a Special Postal Cover to commemorate the occasion.
  • ADC R&R is the largest dental establishment in the Armed Forces and offers post-graduate training in five specialties of dentistry, namely oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics and crown and bridge, periodontics and oral implantology, conservative dentistry and endodontics, and orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics. 
  • Additionally, it is recognized for pioneering the use of Nitrous Oxide-Oxygen minimal sedation for anxiolysis and analgesia during minor oral surgical and rehabilitative treatments across all age groups within the Armed Forces.
