Armistice Remembrance Day is celebrated all over the world on 11 November.
This day is celebrated on the occasion of the end of the First World War.
This Armistice Day is known as Remembrance Day in the Commonwealth of Nations and as Veterans Day in the United States.
This day is celebrated on 11 November to commemorate the treaty signed between France and Germany in 1918.
After this treaty, the First World War ended through the Treaty of Paris in 1919.
Armistice Day honors military personnel as well as civilians who lost their lives during the war.
World War I began in 1914 following the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir to the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
