Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is located in Pune, Maharashtra.
Recently, it has been announced that this medical college will be honored with the President's Color Award.
This award will be given by the President on 1 December.
The platinum jubilee year of AFMC will be celebrated on 1st December.
This institution has played an important role in preparing medical professionals for the armed forces and contributing to the healthcare of the nation.
The President's Colour, also known as the 'President's Mark', is the highest honor awarded to any military unit.
It was established in the year 1951.
