  • Commodore PK Garg has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) by the Sports Authority of India (SAI), with effect from October 25, 2021.
  • Commander Rajesh Rajagopalan, who held the position from 2018 until the Tokyo Olympics, will be replaced by Commodore Garg.
  • Commodore Garg, an Arjuna Awardee (1990) and a Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Awardee (1993-94), served as the Sports Authority of India's High-Performance Director until June 2021.
