Information and Broadcasting Secretary Apurva Chandra has been appointed as the Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare.
In an order issued by the Personnel Ministry, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved the appointment of Chandra as Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare.
Mr. Chandra is a 1988 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Maharashtra cadre.
