  • Anush Agarwalla has been selected by the Equestrian Federation of India (EFI) to represent the country in the dressage event at the Paris Olympics, marking India's first-ever entry in this Olympic discipline.
  • Anush was chosen over Shruti Vora based on a thorough assessment of recent performances, achieving a higher average score of 67.695% compared to Shruti's 67.163%, and meeting the Minimum Eligibility Requirement (MER) four times.
  • The EFI's criteria required a rider-horse combination to achieve a minimum of 67% twice between January 1, 2023, and June 24, 2024. Anush's consistent performance met these standards, leading to the unanimous decision by the Executive Council.
