Anupam Ray, a senior diplomat, has been named the Permanent Representative to the United Nations Conference on Disarmament in Geneva.
Anupam Ray, an Indian Foreign Service officer from the 1994 batch, is currently employed as a joint secretary at the MEA's headquarters in Delhi.
He will take the place of Pankaj Sharma, the incumbent representative.
Pankaj Sharma is a Foreign Service officer from the 1991 batch.
Pankaj Sharma has been appointed as Mexico's Ambassador.
