Announcement of Padma Awards 2022

The Central Government announced the Padma Awards 2022 on the eve of Republic Day. A total of 4 names for Padma Vibhushan, while the names of 17 celebrities have been selected for Padma Bhushan. Apart from this, 107 names have been selected for the Padma Shri award.
Former BJP leader Kalyan Singh, Geeta Press Gorakhpur president Radheshyam Khemka, CDS General Bipin Rawat were posthumously awarded Padma Vibhushan and Prabha Atre's name is included.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, SII MD Cyrus Poonawalla will be honored with Padma Bhushan.
