Kenya's Anna Kabale Duba crowned 'world's best nurse'
Kenyan nurse Anna Kabale Duba has won the 'World's Best Nurse' award by a panel of judges to honor her for her dedication to helping vulnerable women and children in Africa.
Anna Kabale Duba has been given a cash prize of $250,000.
At least six women were shortlisted in this award ceremony, which took place in Dubai and seven countries namely; four men from India, United Arab Emirates, UK, Australia, Afghanistan, Kenya and the US were selected.
Duba, the only female graduate in her village, revealed that she, through her Qabale Duba Foundation, had built a school in Marsabit which offers classes to young pupils and adults looking to get a decent education during the day and evening respectively.
