The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department has been awarded the 2025 Global Tourism Award. The honor recognizes the department’s efforts in implementing a new tourism policy, developing an eco-friendly capital, promoting eco and adventure tourism sites, encouraging private sector participation, creating employment opportunities, and signing 103 MoUs to boost tourism. Tourism Advisor Nishita Goyal received the award on behalf of the department at a ceremony held in New Delhi. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Andhra Pradesh’s sustainable tourism development and cultural preservation.
