The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved Mr Amitabh Chaudhry's reappointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Axis Bank for a three-year term.
Before joining Axis Bank, Mr Chaudhry was the MD and CEO of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company.
Chaudhry's new term will begin on January 1, 2022, and will end on December 31, 2024.
