  • The National Research Development Corporation has nominated Commodore Amit Rastogi as its new Chairman and Managing Director (NRDC).
  • He graduated from JNU with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Poona University, and a Master's degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from Madras University.
  • In India, the National Research and Development Corporation (NRDC) was founded in 1953 to develop and promote technology developed at several National Research and Development Institutes.
