  • The actress Alia Bhatt has been chosen the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India's ‘Person of the Year for 2021’.
  • Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Justice KS Panicker Radhakrishnan, cricketer Virat Kohli, comedian Kapil Sharma, and actors John Abraham, Anushka Sharma, Sunny Leone, R Madhavan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Hema Malini, and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja have all been recognized for their contribution to animal welfare in various ways. Has already been honored with the Person of the Year award by PETA India.
  • Apart from this, PETA India has named Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar as 'Most Beautiful Vegetarian' (India) of 2021.
