  • Air Marshal Rajesh Kumar Anand was an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, the Air Marshal was commissioned as an Air Traffic Controller in the administrative branch of the Indian Air Force on 13 June 1987.  
  • In a career spanning over 36 years, the Air Marshal has held appointments in various fields and staff. 
  • Prior to his current appointment, he was Director General (Administration) at Air Headquarters, New Delhi.
  • For his distinguished service, he was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India in January 2022.
