The Commonwealth Sport Executive Board has recommended Ahmedabad as the proposed host city for the 2030 Centenary Commonwealth Games, with the final decision at the General Assembly on November 26, 2025. Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya called it “a huge moment for Indian sports,” highlighting India’s infrastructure, sporting achievements, and ambitions for the 2036 Olympics. The Games will focus on sustainability, inclusivity, and legacy, marking the 100-year celebration of the Commonwealth Sport Movement.
