Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council on Monday appointed its Foreign Minister Ahmad Awad bin Mubarak as the country's new prime minister.
In this incumbent role, former Prime Minister Main Abdulmalik Saeed will now serve as an adviser to the chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.
Bin Mubarak was abducted by the country's Iran-related Houthis while serving as Yemen's national minister in 2015.
