  • To connect with farmers and understand their problems, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has launched a monthly radio programme named "Kisan Se Baat" on August 15.
  • The programme is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popular radio programme "Mann Ki Baat". The aim is to give farmers an opportunity to interact with ministers, agricultural scientists and ministry officials.
  • The programme will launch in September, possibly a week before the Prime Minister's radio programme.
  • In this event we will discuss various aspects of farming, including best practices, new techniques and new ways to increase productivity.
