On 10 October, Agricultural Science Congress started in Kochi, Kerala.
This is the 16th Agricultural Science Congress.
This Congress was inaugurated by Union Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister Purushottam Rupala.
This congress is being organized by the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
The primary objective of the Congress is to emphasize collective effort on transforming India's agri-food systems into sustainable enterprises to facilitate its benefits for future generations.
The Congress will feature discussions on information dissemination and innovation in agricultural systems to enhance quality education, nutrition and sustainability for transformation of agri-food systems.
