The air version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile has been successfully tested from the Sukhoi 30 MK-I supersonic fighter aircraft.
The test was conducted from the Odisha coast's Integrated Test Range, Chandipur.
In July 2021, the air version of the BrahMos was tested for the last time.
The BrahMos is a collaboration between India (DRDO) and Russia (NPOM) for the development, production, and marketing of a supersonic cruise missile.
BrahMos is a powerful offensive missile weapon system that the Armed Forces are already using.
