Saugata Gupta has been appointed Chairman of the Advertising Standards Council of India in October, 2023.
Prior to his appointment, Saugata Gupta was the Managing Director and CEO of Marico Limited.
Parth Sinha has been elected as the Vice Chairman of the Advertising Standards Council of India.
Sudhanshu Vats has been appointed Secretary of the Advertising Standards Council of India.
The Advertising Standards Council of India is a voluntary self-regulatory organization within the Indian advertising industry.
It was established in the year 1985 AD.
It enforces a code of self-regulation that mandates legal, decent, honest, truthful advertising while ensuring fairness in competition.
