Senior diplomat Adarsh Swika has been appointed as the new Ambassador of India to Kuwait.
Swika, a 2002 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, is currently working as Joint Secretary at the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) headquarters in Delhi.
Swika will replace Sibi George as the Indian envoy to Kuwait.
MEA has also appointed Avtar Singh as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Guinea.
