  • Senior diplomat Adarsh Swika has been appointed as the new Ambassador of India to Kuwait.
  • Swika, a 2002 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, is currently working as Joint Secretary at the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) headquarters in Delhi.
  • Swika will replace Sibi George as the Indian envoy to Kuwait.
  • MEA has also appointed Avtar Singh as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Guinea.
