Tamil cinema’s leading actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam president Vijay launched his party’s flag and flag song at the party headquarters at Panaiyur in Chennai on (August 22, 2024).
Vijay introduced a two-coloured flag with red colour on top and bottom; There was yellow in the middle; And in the middle was a Vagai-like flower surrounded by 28 stars and on either side were two elephants playing trumpets in front of each other.
The warriors of the ancient Tamil empires wore wreaths of Vagai flowers as a symbol of victory.
Mr. Vijay hoisted the flag at the party headquarters and launched the party's flag song Thamizhan Kodi Parakuthu.
