  • Actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik passed away following a heart attack early Thursday morning.
  • He was 66.
  • An alumnus of the National School of Drama and the Film and Television Institute of India, Kaushik was best known for his roles in films such as "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron", "Mr India", "Deewana Mastana", and "Udta Punjab".
  • He directed Sridevi's films Roop Ki Rani, Choron Ka Raja and later Prem, both box-office disasters, but he got his big hit with Hum Aapke Dil Me Rehte Hain and also Tere Naam, among many others.
