A total of 22595 people died in road accidents in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2022.
Tamil Nadu ranks second and Maharashtra third in terms of deaths in road accidents.
Tamil Nadu ranks first in terms of accidents on national highways.
Kerala is at second place and Uttar Pradesh at third place.
Tamil Nadu also ranks first in terms of total road accidents.
In the data released on the basis of cities, the highest number of deaths in road accidents have occurred in Delhi.
In this context, Bengaluru is at second place, Jaipur is at third place and Kanpur is at fourth place.
