  • The Department of Pharmaceuticals, in association with PHDCCI, is hosting the 9th PharmaMed 2026 conference on 27 March 2026 in New Delhi. Centred on the theme ‘Healthcare Equity: Reaching Every Citizen of Viksit Bharat’, the one-day event will bring together policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders to discuss the future of India’s pharmaceutical sector.
  • Key sessions will address redefining India’s pharma leadership from volume to value, regulatory harmonization, quality assurance, supply chain challenges, tackling counterfeit drugs, and last-mile access to medicines. Notable speakers include Dr Vinod K Paul (NITI Aayog), DCGI Dr Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi, and US FDA’s India Director Gregory Smith. The conference aims to support India’s transition towards innovation, R&D, and Atma Nirbharta in pharmaceuticals.
