Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajiv Chandrashekhar has announced seven new Internet Exchange Nodes in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
These nodes will be located at Meerut, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi and Gorakhpur.
In Uttar Pradesh, there was only one Internet exchange node, which was located in Gautam Buddh Nagar.
The new internet exchange nodes will be physically launched by Rajeev Chandrashekhar from Agra.
These exchange points will serve all UP zones. These exchanges contribute to faster Internet speeds for consumers, as well as improved resilience, stability, efficiency, and service quality at a lower cost.
